This year was especially special: we had teachers, a guidance counselor, an assistant principal, and other HSVD staff members performing “Lean on Me”, alongside the entire orchestra program. Another year of hard work, paid off! Thank you to everyone who performed and contributed to this successful performance!

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students:
As of noon today, no decision has been made about the closing of school tomorrow due to the snowstorm. However, plans have been made concerning tomorrow’s scheduled Regents exams. If schools need to be closed, Regents exams will be rescheduled for later in the week; probably Thursday or Friday. We will be making phone calls to all affected students, so please anticipate this call. Please note that this is a change from the past, when exams were not made up.
Sincerely, Franklin Sim Principal
