National Honor Induction Ceremony


On May 22nd, we held our Annual National Honor Society Induction Ceremony for students who demonstrate commitment to Scholarship, Service, Leadership & Character. Thank you to parents and staff for attending this proud and honorable event.



The Boys mentoring program at HSVD meets regularly with Coach Moffett and other male staff with the goal of teaching and modeling integrity, accountability, character and respect to our teen boys. Constant support and encouragement is offered; while having LOTS of fun! Here is a picture of Coach Moffett and the HSVD Boys mentoring program along with other HSVD students at Yankee stadium. LET’S GO YANKEES!!!



Junior Ball is an annual tradition at the High School for Violin & Dance. It is an opportunity to celebrate the overall academic achievements of the junior class AND increase school spirit and morale. They are going in the right direction and that’s COLLEGE & CAREER!!!

The HSVD Ochestra class along with their Ochestra teacher, Ms. Kimberly Cai, performed for the Kittay House Senior Citizen home as part of the HSVD Community Service intiative.

Mini-Olympics coming to HSVD


Starting Thursday February 14th to Friday February 22nd, HSVD will be partaking in a series of competitions to determine which class is the best! See Coach for more information!
